After being home for four months due to Covid-19, I finally made it back to New York to slowly transition back to normal life. Roaming around the city is my favorite activity to do but now face masks and no contact dining is the new norm these days when taking a stroll.

As I was walking around Soho with a friend, I noticed crowds were smaller which means less people watching and fewer interactions. Soho is the go-to neighborhood for shopping and personal runways. As I was stepping into a store I heard a lady's voice behind me asking me where I got my dress which soon turned into a deep conversation about fashion and life. Karen Blanchard, also known as Karen Britchick, is a Fashion Youtuber with 211K subscribers and over 17+ million Youtube views. Karen's Youtube videos range from street style interviews to her personal how to fashion videos. I was personally interviewed by Karen about my outfit to be used for her 13th episode of "Where did u get that". Karen was super outgoing and hungry to learn more about the brands I was wearing. I felt so at ease speaking to her and could've gone on and on asking her questions about her story and background.

Below is a quote I found in a book at a coffee shop that speaks to me about the city.

"Most of us are in New York alone, but what's beautiful is that in New York, we are all alone together. You will find no other place in this world where people are more inclusive and accepting of each others' uniqueness- and exactly that is love to me." -@kjbrathen

Thank you, Karen, for stopping me on the street. Our interaction was so lovely and I can't wait to see your next episode. Below you will find Karen's Youtube channel featuring the 13th episode and her Instagram account as well. (6 min 12 sec is the start of my interview)
