During the pandemic I was swiping through tik tok (yes, I am 26 year old on tik tok) and I ran across this one account called shotzbyalex. The account is run by 20 something year old photographer showing her tricks and tips in the photography world. I started following her on Instagram and mesmerized by the photos she has taken. Alex, the photographer, work is very editorial but still fun. A few months went by and she posted that she had open spots for photoshoot sessions. I immediately jumped on the opportunity and set up my date and time.

The photoshoot session was set for only an hour and I had 4 looks to squeeze in this time frame. I met Alex in the East Village and of course I was a bit nervous since she is a complete stranger but we hit it off right away. Alex was so easy to work with and definitely knows how to work with clients. She had me do specific moves/poses I never would have thought of but the shots turned out amazing.

I treated myself to this photography session because sometimes selfies never captures the full effect. This has only been my second time working with a photographer and I 100% recommend just do your research! I hope to work with Alex again and capture some great shots.
